Hi, and welcome to our homeschool & devotion blog!
A little about me…
I’m Nikki Mulligan, and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a devoted wife to Matt of 14 years, mom to 4 awesome kiddos and lover of all things that help us grow in our homeschool and our faith.
I gave my life to Christ in 2012, and I’ve been homeschooling my 4 kids since 2014. I’m earning my master’s in theology through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, one class at a time. I love that I am challenged and encouraged to see and think through God’s Word in ways I would never do on my own.
My primary ministry is at home, and as you’ll see in this blog, keeping God at the center of it all is important to our family, our homeschool and in my Bible study and devotion writing.
A little about the kids…
Our kids are ages 13, 11, 8 and 6. Grades depend on what subject we’re talking about, but typically, their schoolwork for 2021-2022 is for 8th, 6th, 3rd and 1st grades. They do schoolwork 4 days a week, are active in their youth group at church and have multiple music and sports classes and teams, it’s hard to keep up! They love each other well, and parenting them keeps getting better the bigger they get.
A little about this blog…
My hope and prayer is this blog will provide encouragement and help for fellow homeschoolers and those growing in their faith in Jesus, and that it will offer ideas and resources you can use in your everyday homeschool and walk with God.
I’m a big believer in constructive criticism, so thank you in advance for any comments you leave while you visit my blog! I appreciate feedback, insight and encouragement from you as well 😊 so always leave a reply when you can.
